Accessibility statement
Last updated:
We want Outpost to be usable by as many people as possible, regardless of ability or device. This page describes what we aim for, what is built today, and how to tell us when something falls short.
1The standard we aim for
We build towards WCAG 2.2 level AA. It is a goal we work at continuously, not a certification we claim.
2What is built today
- Keyboard navigation with a visible focus outline and a “skip to main content” link
- Text/background colour pairs checked for AA contrast in both light and dark themes
- Semantic HTML and ARIA labels on interactive controls, icons and dialogs
- Touch targets sized for comfortable tapping on mobile (≥ 44px)
- A responsive, mobile-first layout that reflows down to small screens
- Motion that respects your reduce-motion system setting
3Reduced motion
If your device requests reduced motion (Settings → Accessibility), our transitions and animations are minimised automatically.
4Known gaps
This is an evolving product built by a small team. Some newer screens and third-party embeds may not yet fully meet our target. We fix reported issues as a priority.
5Report a problem
Found a barrier? Email hello@outpostabroad.com with the page and what happened — we will respond and prioritise a fix.
